Argentina -vs- Uruguay

My family and I are planning to travel to Uruguay in May 2008 and stay there perhaps 6-12 months. We have been informed however that there is some sort of disagreement with Argentina and Uruguay over a paper company or something like that and that there may be a war between both countries. First stop: Italy!

A couple of weeks ago we purchased tickets for a two-week vacation in Italy. We're going to try an overseas vacation with our (then) 4 and 7 year old children. We visited some friends in London when our daughter was just over a year old, but she was almost always stroller-bound. Raising Bilingual Children

One of the nicest surprises, in rearing our children in Argentina, has been the ease in which my wife and I have been able to rear them in a bilingual environment. Obviously, the number one reason behind this success is that both of us where on the same page on this one. What has also helped is that my in-laws have also been supportive.
